Chelsea Girls

I tried, but did a pretty poor job of restraining myself from screaming like a 15 year old "OH MY GAHD I LOVE YOUR OUTFIT!!!!"
but it is just so well balanced, and adorable. The colors of the yellow roses and the yellow shoes, and her awesome red lipstick, even the brown on the soles of the shoes and the belt... It's so perfectly matching, but doesn't have that matchy trying too hard look at all.
The shoes are the best part though. I love when girly and utilitarian things are worn together; Plus they remind me of my lovely friend Miss Anne, who just left for England for the year and who I'm missing like crazy.

I saw this awesome dress and had to take a picture! It has this crazy dead tree print on it!

That Dress is so awesome! I love the cut as well as the beautiful tree print. Her hat and shoes were pretty freaking adorable too. She's also carrying multiple bags, which although It isn't my fashion move aesthetically, still makes me like her more, because I'm always carrying around my life with me, too. LOVE IT!

Anyway, so here's my life updated super quick: I've moved in with my grandparents about 20 minutes outside the city to avoid all that silly business of paying rent, but I spend a lot of time in Brooklyn at my boyfriend's house these days. I'm doing 2 fashion internships: one in Greenpoint, Brooklyn for In God We Trust, and the other one in midtown Manhattan at Miguelina. I just started both 2 weeks ago, 2 days a week at each, so I'm kind of feeling them out. It's a good feeling to be moving in the direction I want to again after a long stretch of just working and trying to survive in New York.
Wish me luck!
